Estimation of Parameters of Gravitational Waves from Pulsars

چکیده

Pulsars are one of the primary sources of gravitational-waves that can be observed by detectors that are currently under construction . The data analysis involved to do the search for such sources implies a very heavy computational cost . Here we analyse this problem using a simple model of the gravitational-wave signal from a pulsar. A detailed summary of the current understanding of the gravitational-wave pulsar phenomenology and an analysis of an efficient data analysis technique based on a more accurate model of the signal has recently been presented .
